Wheel specs
How do I read wheel specs?
Diameter x width: a 19x9.5 wheel is 19 inches across and 9.5 inches wide.
Offset (ET): how far the mounting face sits from the wheel’s centerline, in millimeters. A lower offset pushes the wheel out toward the fender; a higher offset pulls it in toward the suspension.
Square vs staggered: square means the same size on all four corners (and you can rotate tires). Staggered runs wider wheels in the rear for a more aggressive stance and grip.
Your fitment results will show up here
Pick your vehicle and we’ll load its factory wheel specs as a starting point. Change the diameter, width and offset to the wheels you’re considering, then press Check fitment.

Tire basics
How to read a tire size
- 245
- Section width in millimeters, sidewall to sidewall.
- 40
- Aspect ratio: sidewall height is 40% of the width (98mm here).
- R
- Radial construction, used on virtually every modern car tire.
- 18
- Wheel diameter in inches. It must match your wheel exactly.
- 97W
- Load index (97 = 1,609 lb per tire) and speed rating (W = 168 mph). Match or exceed your factory rating.
